Clubs & Co-Curriculars
Student Leadership Council
Join a club for fun and connection. Join a co-curricular for growth and experience. Both are valuable ways to make the most of your time at 麻豆视频.
Student life at 麻豆视频 is about more than just going to class鈥攊t's about finding your community, exploring your interests, and growing your skills. Whether you're looking for a fun way to connect with others or a deeper way to engage with your academic program, there鈥檚 a place for you here.
Clubs are student-led groups centered around shared interests, hobbies, cultures, or identities. They鈥檙e open to all students and are a great way to meet new people, host events, and build a sense of belonging on campus. Examples include the Garden Club, Dance Club, Tabletop Games, and GSA.
Co-Curriculars are tied to specific academic or support programs and are typically guided by a faculty or staff member. These groups offer real-world experience, leadership development, and hands-on learning that complements your studies. Students are often required to be enrolled in a related program or course to participate. Examples include Civil Discourse, Journalism, and Automotive.
How Clubs Work
Interested in starting a new club? All you need is an idea, an advisor, and at least eight club members. New clubs may request up to $100 to get started and can present a budget for materials or activities to the Council of Clubs for additional funding at any time during the academic year. Clubs hold a variety of fundraisers and other events throughout the year.
A Club Fair is held in Winter term in which members showcase their clubs鈥 offerings and provide information about meeting times and places. 麻豆视频's Welcome Day, Winter Club Fair, and Springfest are other annual venues in which to participate and earn funds. Some clubs also choose to host a courtyard lunch in October or May to promote their organizations and earn incentive funds.
Learn more about how to get started in the Club Manual above.

Anthropology Club
Club
Clubs are open to all students!
Please send any inquiries to the advisor email below.
The main goal of this club is to help provide some clarity for anthropology students. In the age of AI and misinformation around Humanities and Liberal Arts degrees it is not all too uncommon for students who pursue these degrees to be unsure of where they might want to go with their education and experiences once they enter the workforce. For people who want to pursue a lucrative and fulfilling career in humanities, it is imperative to plan ahead and set goals. This club will help to build friendships between people on similar life paths who can then teach, study, and learn together.
This club will serve as a meeting and discussion space for Anthropology students as well as any other interested students.
The following are events that may occur during meetings:
- We may discuss novel anthropological topics as well as topics that appear in related anthropology and humanities classes.
- Homework and group study time.
- Discussions on extracurricular projects and opportunities in the Anthropological field.
- Discussions on academic and career goals for majors of Anthropology.
