Nick May
Howdy! My name is Nick, and I am coming up on my fourth year working here at Â鶹ÊÓƵ. While all of our team members have the same knowledge and shared abilities, I tend to be the person people work with the most, because I am the one who is usually in the office. Working with students is a passion of mine, and I genuinely enjoy being part of the vibrant community here at Â鶹ÊÓƵ. On that note, shout out to Skylar Wilkerson (Office Director for ) for letting me use the photo he took of me on this page!
Outside of work, the vast majority of my time is spent on something music related. I play guitar and sing in a local band, sit on the board for Corvallis Music Collective, and I am constantly seeking new tunes to appreciate or shows to attend! Punk and DIY ethos have informed a lot of who I am at my core. Beyond that, I am currently between cats right now, and try to spend as much time as possible with my 2 year old nephew. He’s already shown an interest in making music of his own, so I’m doing everything I can to encourage that enthusiasm.

Chester Toye
Hi there! I look forward to supporting you during this meaningful and exciting time in your academic journey! Life can get stressful and intimidating (not to mention life + college) and I’m here to help you find the clarity and confidence you need to move towards your goals. I pride myself on being an attentive listener and creating a calm, relaxed atmosphere in my meetings.
Some fun facts about me: My partner and I have two cats, Archie & Patrice. I’m originally from New Jersey. I’ve been a competitive athlete my whole life and played lacrosse in college. Before moving to Oregon in 2024 I spent over a decade between Los Angeles working in fine art and film production. I love college football. I’m an Aston Villa and Seattle Mariners fan. I hope to complete a Half Ironman one day. I coach youth lacrosse. I wear many hats (literally). I love working at Â鶹ÊÓƵ!

Christine Acker
I am the registration coordinator at Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Corvallis Campus and bring over 12 years of experience working with the Degree Partnership Program. I enjoy guiding students through the registration process and ensure they have the resources to move forward with confidence.
I am an OSU alum, a big Seattle Mariners fan, and enjoy spending time with my dog.

Janessa Rand
I enjoy helping students on their academic journey through higher education. It can be challenging to navigate multiple schools at once or prepare to transfer to another school altogether. But, it’s also a very exciting next step of the journey - I look forward to supporting you for that next step ahead!
Outside of work, I’m a busy mom and adventurer of the outdoors - our family loves to stay active and enjoy Oregon’s beautiful trails!
